This historic Georgian apartment in London is rich in character. Original details such as worn plaster cornices, aged timber floors, and full-height windows have been carefully retained, carrying the marks of time and everyday life. Rather than concealing these imperfections, our approach was to preserve them as an essential part of the home’s identity.
New materials and furniture were thoughtfully introduced to create a quiet dialogue between old and new. Contemporary elements sit naturally within the existing architecture, bringing clarity and balance while respecting the apartment’s history.
All bespoke furniture was crafted from reclaimed timber, adding warmth, texture, and depth to the space. A curated mix of modern and vintage pieces completes the interior, giving this Georgian home a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that feels both timeless and lived in.
